Today the Official Pokémon social media accounts posted mysterious images hinting at a possible upcoming reveal of new information for the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games.
The posts show four images depicting strange paint marks on random locations in a forest. The photos show what appear to be painted multi-colored circle marks that somewhat resemble targets and stripes painted on trees and rocks. The text accompanying the posts says that the photos of the strange marks were taken by a photographer from the Paldea region, and that the markings have been getting attention from the citizens.
Fans have speculated that these markings could possibly hint at a regional variant or evolution for the Pokémon Smeargle. Another speculation is that the photographer that took the photos may be a gym leader. As of yet it is unknown when The Pokémon Company will next post to fully announce the new information.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will release on November 19th on Nintendo Switch.
