The channel GilvaSunner is known for hosting illegal uploads of soundtracks from various video games primarily from Nintendo. Over the years this user has blocked their copyrighted material at many points and GilvaSunner has stated that they are not angry at Nintendo for protecting there copyright, and beseeches the company to start making their game soundtracks available for legal listing through a service like Spotify.
This past week Nintendo blocked 1300 videos on the channel, and another 2200 so far this week. GilvaSunner posted to Twitter that after receiving the copyright blocks they have decided to close down the channel at the end of the week. They then thanked everyone for their support of the channel over and past 11+ years, and expressed a hope to see people continue to support the composers and grow the video game music scene.
