During today’s Ubisoft Forward E3 presentation Rainbow Six Extraction was shown off in a cinematic trailer, followed by a short gameplay demo. In the story the parasitic lifeform from Rainbow Six Siege has evolved further and taken over sever points around North America. It is up to the operators to infultrate these points and gather information to develop new technologies that can stop this threat.
The gameplay has an extraction system where where players are downed the operators that they play as become captured and all of the upgrades and items they have gained are lost. The player must then mount a mission to extract the captured operator to gain them back as a playable character.
Rainbow Six Extraction releases on September 17 2021 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S
