Makiko Ohmoto, the actress that voices Kirby, was hospitalized on March 14th due to appendicitis.
The actress posted to her blog that during lunch after a filming session for Crayon Chin Chan, she suddenly felt an intense pain in her stomach. She was rushed to the hospital where doctors found that she had appendicitis and recommended immediate removal.
Makiko Ohmoto is now recovering, and hopes to be ready to leave the hospital soon.
