Over the weekend the Final Splatfest took place on Splatoon 2. The event, titled Splatpocalypse, saw users choosing between Chaos and Order as they battled it out to bring home victory for their respective teams.
After an explosive 72 hours of battle celebrating all that is Splatfests, team Chaos saw ultimate victory in the Splatfest. This is the end of Splatfests, but it is not the end of Splatoon 2. The Splatoon team has stated that they have not started thinking about a Splatoon 3 yet or whether the results of Splatoon 2’s final Splatfest will have an impact on the game. If the results of the original Splatoon’s final splatfest are anything to go by, then we may see a shake up in Splatoon 3.
